چکیده
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of adding citric acid residue (CAR) with or without lactic bacteria (LAB) Napier grass (Cenchrus purpureus; syn. Pennisetum purpureum) cv. Sumu No. 2 at ensiling on fermentation quality and aerobic stability resulting silage. Treatments included: Control (Napier forage additives); inoculated (Lactobacillus plantarum L. buchneri) 1 × 106 cfu/gfresh weight (FW) 36 g residue/kg FW a mixture CAR LAB (CL). Forty-five days after silages were tested for chemical microbial composition an test conducted. The addition increased DM concentrations in silage decreased pH plus acetic acid, ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), neutral detergent fiber cellulose relative Control. lower than Control, while concentration higher. During first exposure, all additives water-soluble carbohydrate (WSC) NH3-N concentrations. Moreover, CL had highest WSC lowest during exposure. However, failed improve While inoculant improved made from grass, more studies are warranted identify which can opening.

Effect of lactic acid bacteria inoculants, formic acid, potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate on fermentation quality and aerobic stability of wilted grass silage
The efficiency of a novel strain of lactic acid bacteria inoculant (Lactobacillus plantarum VTT E-78076, E76) on the fermentation quality of wilted silage was studied. Furthermore, the possibility to improve aerobic stability of silages by combining an inoculant and chemical preservatives was investigated. Two experiments were conducted with wilted timothy-meadow fescue herbage (dry matter 429 ...

This study was carried out to determine the effects of actic acid bacterial inoculant on the fermentation and aerobic stability of sunflower silages. Sunflower was harvested at the milk stage. Inoculant-1174 (Pioneer®,USA) was used as homofermentative lactic acid bacterial inoculant. Inoculant was applied 6.00 log10 cfu/g silage levels. Silages with no additive served as controls. After treatme...

It is difficult to make good quality of silage from alpine gramineous from the Qinghai Tibetan plateau. The effects of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on the fermentation quality and aerobic stability of Siberian wildrye silage were studied in southeast of the Qinghai Tibetan plateau. Siberian wildrye materials were freshly cut at the sprouting stage, flowering stage, and milky stage. Silage was pre...

Objective: This study aimed to assess the destructive effects of citric acid, lactic acid and acetic acid produced from the fermentation of foods on primary teeth enamel. Methods: This in vitro, experimental study was conducted on 24 sound primary teeth. The teeth were polished with a fine abrasive paper under running water. Tooth pieces measuring 3 × 4 × 3mm were cut out of the teeth and s...
